Based off my experience I feel like a thorough description might be helpful for those who aren't sure if this whole capsule business is for them. My 2 week stay at this capsule hotel was very enjoyable, but it really is only for those who can appreciate the way they do things there. This place feels very simple and efficient. There are a few things rules which a lot of foreigners might not feel comfortable with, since these capsule designs are designed for the general populace. Outside of the nightshift staff, there usually is at least 1 member at the reception who speaks decent english. I recommend checking in before 11 PM each time if you'd like to avoid communication issues, especially the first day. I found the staff very helpful and friendly, giving a thorough explanation on the first day. You start by putting your shoes in your locker and check in at the counter. Payment is in advance and every individual day. Upon checking in they offer to store your valuables in a safety bag, and then you get a locker key, robe top, shorts and towel in exchange for your shoe locker key. I believe the clothing is mandatory to wear during your stay there.  The locker key has a barcode which you can use to consume anything in the building on account and pay when you check out the next day. You can change in the locker area where you have a locker that is linked to your capsule number. I would say the lockers are about 0.25w x 0.5d x 2.0h(meters) and are meant to store your clothing. The lockers are wide enough to store carrier bags or laptop bags, but that's basically it. You can store other luggage in the cloak room at the counter, so, I recommend taking out whatever you need the next day and store your luggage in the cloak room. The capsules themselves are about 2x1x1m in size. Inside there's a control panel for light, alarm clock, radio and tv. I personally had no trouble sleeping in a 2x1x1m cube, but I can imagine some people do.

    The price and location.

The mattresses in the capsules need replaced. They were not that comfortable. Although not the worst I stayed in on my trip that would be a big improvement. Also, there was no outlets or wifi in the hotel. I asked to get a capsule that had both since that is what the site said to do but they said none of them do. The only way to charge your phone if pay 100 yen (a little over $1) for 10 minutes of charge at their charging stations.

First time to experiance a capsule hotel. It was an intersting experiance, but I wouldn't repeat it!

I couldn't sleep most of the night because of the noise: someone in a nearby capsule was snoring, ventilation is too noisy, and you could hear any small noise or movement outside the capsule thanks to the roller blind door.. It’s better to use a small business hotel or even internet café that have comfortable reclining chairs..

Having not stayed in a capsule hotel before it was a unique experience. Cheap clean and helpful staff.

It was quite noisy, the hall light was always on. It's not to be confused as a hotel or a Ryokan, it's a short term stay only. But as an experience in an almost unique aspect of Japanese culture worthwhile.

    The capsule experience, nothing else

    1) Poor English skills of receptionists 2) Small storage area for personal belogings (locker 15cm wide) 3) Common shower facilities (with plastic chairs for showering) 4) Had to walk barefoot in the Hotel (no shoes allowed) 5) No common area with free internet or power outlets (had to pay 800Yen more/night) 6) Rude after check-out policy (couldnt store my luggage after my check out at 10am till I catch my flight at 7pm)

Easy in and out service, convenient internet and dining access.

Capsules are small if you are over 6 feet tall, and had to check out every day at 1000.

It`s only a short walk from the station and is in the Kabuki- cho area and it`s relatively cheap.

Lockers are only half as wide as normal.

    The large Japanese style bath-tub.

Uncomfortable matraces, noise at the small hours.

Sauna! And the Out door jacuzzi were the best.

As being non-Japanese I do think that capsules were little too short and little too hot. A little air conditioner would have been nice.
